Soy una artista textil y curadora enfocada en la práctica basada en el poder creativo en colectivo, y en particular en su capacidad de reparar la sociedad, a través de la reflexión inspirada en los textiles. En mi trabajo busco impugnar la división entre la memoria y la experiencia, quiero amplificar la percepción del espectador creando composiciones o escenarios que informen y, al mismo tiempo, le confronten y dejen rastros de reconocimiento y conciencia.
I am a community-based textile artist and curator focused on the collective creative power to shape the world we envision. By examining the division between the realm of memory and the realm of experience, I want to amplify the astonishment of the spectator by creating compositions or settings that inform and confront the viewer and leave traces of recognition and awareness.
